Learn animation!

Kent TV's new series and competition, Animate and Create, has now launched!

The series consists of six short films showing you how to animate in your school or at home. The videos are aimed at young people attending primary and secondary schools in Kent, to encourage them to get animating in the classroom and at home.

As well as teaching animation skills through simple demonstrations, the series will bring you interviews with top animation experts including the director of Shaun the Sheep as well as the creator of the legendary Bagpuss, who will also give extra tips and advice on how to make your animated films even better.

Animation is easy to do, using a very cheap webcam, a computer and free software. Just watch the videos to learn how to do the different animations. Once you've finished, upload your own films to Kent TV for other schools around the county to see.
